Ting Su is a Chinese filmmaker and sound designer based between New York and Shenzhen. With a tactile and sensitive gaze, her diaristic work crawls between themes of migration, time, and queer identity through hybrid non-fiction forms. Her debut short, Daily Worker (2025), premiered in the Best Mini-Doc Competition at Big Sky and was later showcased at True/False, MIFF, and Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, among others. She received Atelier 105 Residency at LIGHT CONE for her new experimental film Your City (2026), which premiered at Visions du Réel.
As a sound designer and composer, Su is interested in experimental sound works and composition. She likes playing with sonic perspectives and environmental soundscapes.
